Passengers with a Handicap

Assistance is available free of charge to wheelchair users, passengers with impaired mobility, the blind and visually impaired and the mentally handicapped:
  

   

Advance notice

    

Please be sure to request assistance no later than one hour before your train is due to depart so that we have enough time to organise appropriate assistance.

An exceptional two hour's notice is required at the following Support Stations in Northwest Switzerland


Frick, Porrentruy, Sonceboz-Sombeval, St. Imier, St. Ursanne, Vallorbe.

  


What we need to know

  • Your first and last names
  • Telephone number (in case we need more information)
  • The date of travel and destination
  • The desired departure or arrival time
  • The nature of your disability (impaired mobility, in a wheelchair (with or without motor), visually impaired or mentally handicapped)

You can also make a reservation by e-mail 24 hours in advance.

      

  

Standing orders

  

Do you travel regularly on the same route? If so, you could place a standing order with SBB Call Center Handicap for these journeys. Please notify SBB Call Center Handicap if you are going to be absent (on holiday, for example) or if your travel plans change, however, as otherwise we cannot guarantee the assistance you require.
